Hello again
It has been a while since I published a post on this page. It sometimes gets so overwhelming, trying to keep a website updated and posting on Instagram next to your “normal” life with work and family and the occasional social get together with my girlfriends.
Don’t get me wrong: I am not complaining. I love being a fashion blogger. My love for fashion is profound and I love being able to show my style to (a small part of) the rest of the world. I must admit that all the perks that come with blogging are quite pleasing as well. But with all the perks comes responsibility. If I am gifted an item of clothing, I will need to photograph it within a certain timeframe. And of course a decent picture is expected by the company. If you are gifted 4 items of clothing within one week, this means hard work (okay, relatively speaking). And if you are a perfectionist, like I am, this means spending almost all of your free time styling, photographing and editing.
But now it’s January and the sales have started. This means a moment of quiet before the new collections come in. Time to look back at what I have been wearing in the last couple of months!
Tulle, tulle, tulle
You probably know by now that I love tulle skirts. I wear them all the time, also as an underskirt to puff up my skirts. Which is, by the way, the most asked question on my Instagram: “What do you wear underneath your skirts?”.
Now you know!
A burgundy tulle skirt from Amazon. You can find it here. The cute faux fur bag is from Maria Cardelli. Visit her website here.
Same tulle skirt, this time as an underskirt. The leopard print skirt is from Hell Bunny via Topvintage. Almost sold out but a few sizes left here!
Totally fell in love with this Chicwish skirt (shop here). The bag is, again, from Maria Cardelli. The totally wonderful glittery flats are from the collaboration of Blair from Atlantic-Pacific with Halogen X, you can shop them here! Blouse is from Shein (shop here).
White tulle! This skirt is from Asos, it’s still available here. The polka dot top is from Shein (shop here). The cat bag is from Topvintage and currently sold out.
Finally this gorgeous navy tulle skirt from Alannah Hill (shop here). I’m wearing it with a cardigan from the same brand (here), worn backwards.
There’s a lot more tulle coming in the next few months, I will keep you posted 😉
I love a tulle skirt, so fun and carefree! I have a couple of underskirts, but I’d never thought to layer with another tulle skirt, what a great way to add an additional bit of colour! My favourite here is definitely the leopard with burgundy – such a fabulous look!
